A Personal Message from Peter

Dear friend,

This site contains a variety of materials that may be useful in deciding whether to add us to your panel of attorneys. As I am sure you know, the workers' compensation community is relatively small. Those of us who practice defense exclusively constitute an even smaller fraction of the industry. The varied experiences of the attorneys in my firm gives us a great deal of insight into the practical application of workers' compensation laws and the defenses available.

My own background includes undergraduate work in biological sciences, secondary education over a decade as a peace officer for the County of Los Angeles and the last decade as an active politician during which I sat as Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Fullerton. In addition, I have been very active in the Workers' Compensation Defense Association, having sat as a three-term President of the Orange County Division in the late '80's and early '90's. My office also provides on-site training to assist with case management, medical and pharmaceutical control, loss prevention and, of course, litigation preparation as a part of our overall representation.

Please visit our various pages which include links to reference sources, along with pertinent information regarding each lawyer.  Because my office specializes in seasonal and temporary employment, our practice takes us around the state. We regularly appear at Boards between San Diego and Bakersfield. This is particularly appealing because we do not charge for travel time. We do, however, focus on Boards in Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego Counties, making appearances at these various Boards at least two or three times a month.
